Trauma-Informed Therapy for Individuals and Couples
Heal from trauma, betrayal, family conflict, and painful relationship patterns so you can feel more grounded, connected, and secure in your life and your relationships.
In-person therapy in Northwest Austin and virtual therapy available throughout Texas.
You may look successful on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck on the inside.
Perhaps you find yourself repeating the same painful relationship patterns, struggling to set boundaries without guilt, carrying the effects of childhood trauma, or wondering why certain relationships leave you feeling anxious, exhausted, or emotionally unsafe.
Healing is possible, and you don't have to figure it out alone.
I help individuals and couples heal from trauma, betrayal, emotionally immature family dynamics, attachment wounds, and painful relationship patterns. Whether you're struggling personally or trying to rebuild connection with someone you love, therapy can help you move toward greater clarity, healing, and emotional security.
You've Probably Been Carrying This for a Long Time
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted after years of trying to hold everything together, often while being the person everyone else depends on.
Some are navigating betrayal, family estrangement, or the long shadow of emotionally immature parenting. Others are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or patterns that keep repeating despite their best efforts to change them.
You may relate if you are:
Carrying the effects of childhood trauma, emotional neglect, or emotionally immature parenting
Repeating painful patterns in relationships that leave you feeling hurt, anxious, or disconnected
Struggling with people-pleasing, guilt, or difficulty setting boundaries
Recovering from infidelity, betrayal, or emotional abuse
Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, grief, or emotional exhaustion
Navigating divorce, parenting challenges, empty nest transitions, or significant life changes
Questioning yourself after years of family conflict, estrangement, or difficult family dynamics
Many of the struggles people bring to therapy, including relationship conflict, people-pleasing, anxiety, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, can often be traced to earlier experiences that shaped how they learned to connect, protect themselves, and seek safety in relationships.
Individual Therapy: Heal from Trauma, Anxiety, and Painful Relationship Patterns
Therapy can help you understand the experiences that shaped you, identify the patterns keeping you stuck, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Together, we can work to:
Reconnect with your emotions and learn to trust your inner voice
Set healthy boundaries without overwhelming guilt
Heal attachment wounds and improve relationship satisfaction
Understand where long-standing patterns come from and how to change them
Reduce anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm
Feel more grounded, confident, and emotionally present in your daily life
Many clients come to therapy because of family estrangement, emotionally immature parents, betrayal trauma, childhood emotional neglect, narcissistic abuse, or relationship difficulties that continue to affect their lives long after the original experiences occurred.
Couples Therapy: Rebuild Trust and Connection
Relationships can become painful when trauma, betrayal, chronic conflict, or emotional disconnection are present. Couples often arrive feeling stuck in the same arguments, unsure how to reconnect, or questioning whether trust can be rebuilt.
Couples therapy may be helpful if you are:
Recovering from infidelity or betrayal
Stuck in repeated conflict cycles
Feeling emotionally disconnected or distant
Struggling to communicate effectively
Navigating major life transitions affecting your relationship
Working to rebuild trust, intimacy, and emotional safety
Navigating concerns related to pornography use, sexual intimacy, or digital disconnection
I use the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-informed approaches to help couples improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, repair trust, and heal long-standing relationship wounds.
